Glorified By Gloria

Gloria Strauss, a spirited, determined child of just 11 years, passed away on September 21, 2007, after her 4 1/2 year battle with Neuroblastoma.

I was peripheral to the struggle of dear Gloria, but her suffering and the family's recent loss has been on my heart and in my prayers. With the release of The Birth of Christ, I am reminded of the touching story of how, when attending the debut of our first performance, Gloria beamed at the exclamation of the chorus when they sang, "Gloria, Gloria, Gloria!"

I would like to take the opportunity to dedicate the Epilogue from The Birth of Christ (One Blessed Night - Reprise), in loving memory of dear Gloria Strauss. As her suffering on earth is now ended, may she rest with angels in the presence of the Almighty and bask in their constant "Glorias!"

Great peace to the Strauss family, and may you truly feel the presence of the God made man in our Christ this holiday season.
